Paradise Flooded

Water lapping at the backside loading dock called for a little workday exploration. What is going on?!

When I got to work, what had been simply a loading dock behind the store had become a dock extending into water, as Paradise Creek had gone over its banks and into the parking lot.

By the time I got out with the camera, the water had receeded a few feet, but was still higher than I'd ever seen it.

Water lines left on the walls showed they'd had about a foot of water in their first floor apartments. That had to suck.
